Repeated Viewing writes: ‘Art Imitates offered me the chance to work on a project with two old friends from the North East of Scotland: LA-based director Paul Allan and writer Bruce McComiskie. In all honesty, my contribution was minimal! Side A of this release features the tracks used in the film. Paul picked what he liked from a larger pool of my music and I tweaked and preened them for use in the movie. Side B features a number of bonus tracks that I feel fall into the same territory. Many of these tracks were recorded onto my trusty battered 4-track after dark. Hopefully they go some way to capturing the dream-like vibe of the final film.’
