Released in May 1984, ‘Murder’ was originally recorded in Winter 1982 during the sessions for the ‘Power, Corruption & Lies’ album.

The ‘Murder’ track is an instrumental piece that features samples of dialogue from the films ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ and ‘Caligula’.

Peter Saville’s cover art is a “night-time” version of the “Thieves Like Us” sleeve, including a painting by Giorgio de Chirico.

This new reissue remastered from the original master tapes at Abbey Road Studios.

Released as part of the second wave of ‘Definitive Edition’ albums hits the shelves: 1983’s ‘Power, Corruption & Lies’.
